A Highlight Today

Well, my QQ finally came!  A few months ago the editor asked whether I would mind if they republished my FDIM paper in QQ.  Yeah, like I would mind!  A few weeks ago I began receiving emails from folks asking questions relating to the article, or congratulating me on it.

But my copy of QQ never appeared.

Finally today the mailman brought my copy of QQ, and they did a nice job of putting it together.  Better, I think, than the FDIM proceedings.

QQ, or more completely QRP Quarterly, is the journal of the QRP Amateur Radio Club International, an international group of about 12,000 who enjoys making radio contacts at low power.  This same group also tends to build radios, so my article, on employing microcontrollers in some of their designs, is s aimed at that target.  This is my second article in QQ; a couple of years ago I reported on their 10th annual Four Days In May or 'FDIM' symposium, the same symposium at which I presented the current paper in last year's event.

Some folks have asked to read the entire article.  Converting it to HTML is a major pain, but here are links to scans of the individual pages:
