Not as productive
Well, today wasn't nearly as productive as yesterday, probably because I spent so much time on Multiply 
I did discover a small bug in one of my PHP scripts that I fixed. And then I worked on the hamgate for a while. I thought perhaps some of the networking issues were the result of the firewall, but alas, no joy.
I also collected together some stuff for my financial guy. Tried several times to fax the stuff to him but no answer at his fax machine. Tomorrow I'm gonna have to call him. We are meeting next week. I'm really glad I have this guy. I just have a really hard time getting interested in investments. But ya gotta do it; this guy deals with that for me, so for that I'm thankful.
This afternoon an old buddy came by having some trouble with his new laptop - Vista - ugh. Unfortunately, he didn't bring his power adapter and we only had enough battery to get started, but I think we got him headed down the right road, anyway.
Checked into the UP net this afternoon. I should do that more often. I couldn't make MITN or QMN, and MITN especially has been tough lately anyway. I should make the local VHF net tonight for the first time in a while, too.
More pictures, too. My negative copying adapter seems to work a lot better when there is sunlight to be had, and we had a few minutes of that today. Otherwise bloody cold and windy. Tonight is supposed to be absolutely brutal. Last year we put some additional insulation in the roof and got a new furnace. The result is much lower energy bills, so the cold wind doesn't sound quite so grating.
I have to say I have enjoyed following some of the political discussions here. But it is awfully easy to burn way too much time at it. There are a few folks here, quite a few, who seem to think like me. Well, OK, maybe they aren't quite as rabid ...
