ARPSC Website

Well, yesterday was productive.  I finally got all the content (I think) moved off Marty's mi-arpsc server onto my mi-nts server. I posted a redirect page for each of the public pages to point to the new server. I even got some of Pete's pictures from Operation Safeguard posted.  Next step is to start cleaning out the old server, making sure there is nothing hidden that someone might be depending on.

I don't know where Marty stands on releasing the mi-arpsc.org domain name.  He needs to release that, then I need to play musical directories with www.mi-nts.org and arpsc.mi-nts.org, and then I need to have Astra do some re-pointing of domain names, and I think make some mail server configuration changes.  Then the scary part of testing the reports at mi-arpsc dot org email address.  In fact, that is the main point behind all the shuffling.  If that address weren't so important it would be simple business and I wouldn't need to get Astra involved at all.

The other fun thing that went on yesterday is I reconnected to an old net.friend.  She didn't completely remember me (kinda sad) but did remember some mutual friends.  Way back when she was pretty screwed up, but now she has it together and is very successful.  Really great to hear she is doing well.

So, today maybe I can make some more headway on PIC Elmer.  Might be tough, though.  XYL might want me to go with her for some shopping.  That could eat up a big chunk of the day.
